These terms cover your use of Gatherwise at gatherwise.app, operated by James Jackson Leach. By using Gatherwise, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Notice explains how the service handles information.
Your account
Use an account and sign-in method you control. Keep email links and SMS codes private, protect the email or social account you use to sign in, and contact us if you believe someone has accessed your Gatherwise account without permission. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Event and attendee information
Import and use attendee information only when you have authority to do so. Give attendees any notices and obtain any permissions required for your event and use of their information. Keep imported information and host notes relevant to legitimate event preparation. Do not upload passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information unrelated to this purpose.
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You authorize Gatherwise and its service providers to process that content to operate the features you use and respond to your support requests. Importing information does not give you additional rights to use it or to reuse material from linked sources.
Appropriate use
Do not use Gatherwise to harass people, send unsolicited bulk messages, impersonate someone, publish private attendee information without authorization, or attempt to access another person's workspace. Do not interfere with the service or bypass its access controls and usage limits. We may restrict access to address misuse, protect other users or investigate unauthorized activity.
Evidence and early access
Gatherwise is an early access product. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable, and data may be incomplete or incorrect. Review source evidence and confirm identity before relying on an attendee summary or match. A missing match does not establish that someone lacks a particular accomplishment. Gatherwise is an event-preparation tool, not an employment, credit or eligibility-screening service.
The current customer release stores imported attendee records and organizes workspace information. When enabled, research uses Gatherwise's Apollo and Firecrawl accounts to return candidate professional details and extract source information from supplied public pages. Customer workspaces remain separate. Research results are source or provider assertions, not verified identity or accomplishments. Supported workspace questions are answered from stored records and are not sent to a language-model service; page extraction is a separate research step. Research availability depends on provider configuration and available capacity. Event connections and synchronization are available where enabled and depend on your connection and settings. Some sign-in methods are still being configured. A disabled control or displayed research allowance does not mean those services are available. Paid checkout is available only for plans shown as available to your account. A test-mode checkout does not take a real payment or provide credits for paid research.
Research Credit Packs
A Research Credit Pack costs $49 once and adds 250 basic research credits to your account. Use purchased credits across your current and future events in that account. You do not need to choose or create an event before buying credits. Purchased credits do not expire, and this purchase does not renew automatically. Unused credits from previously purchased Event Passes can also be used across your account’s events. Saved profiles, notes and shortlists remain accessible when credits run out, subject to these terms.
One credit is used when research returns a usable basic professional profile consistent with the supplied identity. No match, a withheld identity match, a failed request or an uncertain result releases the reserved customer credit. Results can still be incomplete or incorrect and require your review. Credits do not guarantee contact information, verified accomplishments or a result for every guest.
Importing or viewing guests, using filters, saving notes and shortlisting people do not use research credits. Research shows its maximum credit cost before confirmation. Gatherwise does not automatically buy extra credits or charge overages when your balance is insufficient.
Payments and refunds
Prices are in US dollars. Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout page. Review the final price, credit allowance and any promotion before paying. A discount changes the price, not the included credits. Gatherwise does not receive your full card number or security code.
Research-credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. Unused purchased credits do not expire and cannot be exchanged for cash or a refund. If a payment or credit allocation is incorrect, contact trygatherwise@gmail.com so we can investigate and correct it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Starter Host, Pro Host and Business / Agency plans may appear as previews. A preview does not start a subscription or authorize a recurring charge. Renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before any subscription becomes available for purchase.
Leaving and requesting changes
You may stop using Gatherwise at any time. Signing out does not delete account or event records. For account closure, corrections or deletion requests, email trygatherwise@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually as described in the Privacy Notice.
